Priceless footage has emerged of Liverpool‘s German coach Jurgen Klopp attempting to motivate his Reds ahead of their Saturday showdown against Tottenham Hotspur.
In the clip, captured by @MrBoywunder [via sport1], Klopp is seen overseeing a close-contact drill at Liverpool’s Melwood training ground.
The German coach keeps a beady eye on the proceedings, offering words of encouragement to some of his players as they seek to impress.
“Very good, Dejan,” he roars at one point, addressing Croatian centre-back Lovren, before warmly congratulating—presumably—Simon Mignolet, with a hearty “very good, Simon,” following an unexpected moment of quality from the Belgian stopper.
Klopp appears very calm even though his Liverpool side face a major test on Saturday when they face title-hunting Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
The two sides drew 0-0 when they met in the EPL earlier in the campaign, and while the Reds will enjoy home support, Spurs have the momentum—having won their last two matches.
