Video: Leonardo Ulloa doubles Leicester City’s lead with header

Jamie Vardy? Who needs him? Certainly not Leicester City this week as Riyad Mahrez and Leonardo Ulloa combined for a pair of goals against Swansea City today to give the Foxes a dominating lead within the first 30 minutes of the half.

Mahrez whipped the King Power Stadium crowd into a frenzy with his goal at the 10′ mark, a stunning move that came about on an Ashley Williams gaffe where he kicked the ball right into the Algerian winger.

But it was Ulloa who had an equally impressive finish, jumping high above the pile on a free kick from Danny Drinkwater to get the header and double the Foxes’ lead at the King Power.

As usual, the Foxes defence was on lockdown, shutting down a desperate Swansea attack in the first half to go into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

A win or a draw for Leicester City today would also mathematically eliminate Arsenal from Premier League title contention.
