Video: VARDY PARTY! Leicester City players go crazy when title decided

Posted by

Watching with baited breath from the home of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, the Foxes looked on as Eden Hazard scored the equalizer against Tottenham Hotspur. Less than 15 minutes later, they were the champions of English football and partied like it.

Leicester City, 5,000-to-1 odds to win the title – greater than the 1980 Miracle on Ice, the 1999 Rams or Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson – are now the Premier League champions.

The win for Leicester was the first-ever top-flight title in the 132-year history of the club. Prior to this year, the highest they had ever finished in English football was the 1928-29 season when they finished second.

There are still two games left to play though and the Foxes will be without the services of Danny Drinkwater and likely without Robert Huth as well. But all of them, along with Vardy, PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez, and PFA Team of the Year members Wes Morgan and N’Golo Kante all contributed to the incredible feat.
