Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp “desperate” to sign Bundesliga record-breaker, Echo issues update on Reds interest in Joe Hart

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly “desperate” to be reunited with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic.

That is according to The Telegraph, who claim that the Reds have offered £11m for the 17-year-old American.

Klopp was in charge at Dortmund when Pulisic joined the German club’s youth set-up.

Pulisic has already made a big impact in Germany. Earlier this year, he became the youngest foreign player to score a goal in the Bundesliga, while he holds a similar record at international level following his first goal for the United States, which came against Bolivia.

So Pulisic could be a goer, but Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is seemingly not in Klopp’s thoughts.

The Liverpool Echo claim that Klopp has no interest in Hart, who is unsettled at the Etihad Stadium.

With Loris Karius, Simon Mignolet and experienced back-up option Alex Manninger in the squad, Liverpool look fully stocked in the stopper department.
