Tottenham have entered the race for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko according to Sky Sports.
The North London based outfit are reported to have match Everton’s £30 million bid for Sissoko and will be hoping they can use the lure Champions League action this season – and an outside shot at the title race.
The Sports channel reported earlier today that Everton had made a £30 million bid for the France international and that they were willing to accept payment in five instalments of £6 million.
Per the source Sissoko was allowed to leave the French national team camp near Paris on Wednesday following Tottenham launching a move to sign him however, Everton emerged as favourites until Spurs reignited interest.
Sissoko has just under an hour to make a final decision regarding his future. The powerful midfielder is expected to leave Newcastle United but faces a tough decision over whether to join the Toffees or Tottenham.
