Liverpool’s summer signing Joel Matip has stated that he is eager to make his debut for the Red’s and hear the infamous ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ chant.
The Cameroon international joined the Red’s from the Bundesliga giants Schalke 04.
Liverpool uploaded a picture of their new transfer along with the caption, “Joel Matip: “To hear ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ for the first time will be a special moment!”
Liverpool take on last season’s Premier League champions Leicester City this weekend at Anfield. Matip is yet to make his debut for Liverpool due to an injury he suffered during pre-season.
