Chelsea captain John Terry suffered an ankle injury during the closing stages of the Blues 2-2 draw with Swansea City.
The former England international rolled his ankle and was in visible pain following the final whistle.
According to The Sun, Terry left the Liberty stadium with his left ankle heavily bandaged after rolling the joint in the final moments of todays clash.
Per-the-source, Terry is now a doubt going into the Friday night encounter with Liverpool. Meanwhile, the Reds are coming off the back of a 4-1 victory over the Premier League champions Leicester City. The report goes onto state that summer signing David Luiz may now step into the starting line-up.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have scored 14 goals in their opening five games this season.
Despite drawing against Swansea, the Blues moved into second place in the Premier League with 10 points. Chelsea are unbeaten since the appointment of Antonio Conte.
