Man United team news: Star defender eyes fast start against Watford

Manchester United star full-back Luke Shaw has stated that the Red Devils must get off to a fast start against Watford FC after suffering back-to-back defeats, according to the MUTV.

Jose Mourinho’s side were beaten by both rivals Manchester City and Feyenoord over the past seven days. United take on Watford FC at 12:00 (GMT) today as they look to return to winning ways.

“We need to start the game sharp,” Shaw was quoted as saying by MUTV.

“The last two games we’ve played, we haven’t made the best of starts especially in the first half, and we need to change that.

“It was frustrating to watch (against Feyenoord). We didn’t have many chances against us and their goal was a clear offside – we were unfortunate with that.”

Per-the-source, Shaw missed United’s clash with Feyenoord with a slight hamstring injury.

Mourinho is expected to recall Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was rested for the Europa League fixture, to the starting lineup today.

Watford have lost their last six matches against the Man United and Walter Mazzarri’s side have also conceded 16 goals in the last 6 meetings with the Red Devils.
