Manchester United have wished their former player and club legend Sir Bobby Charlton a happy 79th birthday.
Charlton made his debut for the club 60 years ago. During over 17 years at Old Trafford, Charlton made 758 appearances for the club and scored a total of 249 goals. The former striker won three league titles, an FA Cup and a European Cup.
United shared a photograph of Charlton on their official Instagram page along with the caption, “Happy 79th birthday to #MUFC legend Sir Bobby Charlton!”
