Manchester United outcast Henrikh Mkhitaryan stars in Armenia win

Out-of-favour Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan has lead Armenia to victory over Montenegro.

The attacking midfielder has found himself on the fridges of United’s squad despite making a big money move from Dortmund over the summer transfer window.

Armenia were 2-0 down going into half time following goals from Kojasevic and Jovetic. However, Mkhitaryan starred as Armenia pulled off a phenomenal comeback to defeat Montenegro by a 3-2 scoreline.

Grigoryan, Haroyan and Ghazaryan scored to ensure Armenia’s first win in Group E. Mkhitaryan’s side have racked up just three points points from four games and find themselves in fifth place.

Mkhitaryan has made just four apperances in the Premier League for Man United after struggling to impress manager Jose Mourinho.

The 27-year-old played  the full 90 minutes for Armenia and will now hope his increased fitness can improve his chances to feature more regularly for the Red Devils.

United take on title rivals Arsenal this weekend in the Premier League.
