John Terry and Anthony Joshua crossed paths in Dubai over the weekend, with the pair out in the Middle East for very different reasons.
The Aston Villa defender is currently sidelined with a foot injury as he will miss a significant period which could yet prove costly to Steve Bruce’s side as they aim for promotion back to the Premier League this season.
In contrast, Joshua is having a holiday and soaking up the sun after he successfully defended his heavyweight titles against Carlos Takam in Cardiff last month.
However, it’s a small world as the pair managed to bump into each other over in Dubai as seen in the image below shared by Terry on his Instagram account.
It’s not often people standing next to Joshua don’t disappear in his shadow, but Terry’s clearly a big fella himself even with a hobble as he posed with his crutches and his injured foot hanging in the air…
