For Real Madrid fans, this will be music to your ears as French football expert Julien Laurens is entirely convinced Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will play for the club.
Speaking to BBC 5Live, as seen in the video below, Laurens was discussing the chances of the two Paris Saint-Germain stars moving to the Bernabeu, and rates it happening very highly.
It might not happen for both immediately, but while he expects Neymar to potentially join the Spanish giants as soon as next summer, he’s convinced that Mbappe will follow him as he claims it’s the young French star’s dream to play for Los Blancos.
Considering their recent price-tags though, it’s going to take some investment from Madrid to sign them both, with BBC Sport noting that Neymar moved to the French capital for a world-record €222m fee last summer from Barcelona.
Meanwhile, BBC also add that following on from his initial loan move to PSG, Mbappe will cost the Ligue 1 leaders another €180m which is a hefty amount of money on two players.
They’ve certainly delivered on expectations though, with Neymar scoring 20 goals and providing 14 assists in 22 appearances so far this season, while Mbappe has added 14 goals and 13 assists in 26 games.
If the touted moves by Laurens materialise, then PSG will at least hope that the pair can lead them to further silverware both domestically and in Europe before they move on, something they’re on course to do with an 11-point lead in the league while they’ve comfortably advanced in the Champions League this season.
