France secured World Cup glory on Sunday evening as they defeated Croatia in a thrilling 4-2 win in the final in Moscow.
Goals from Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe along with a Mario Mandzukic own goal sealed the victory for Didier Deschamps and his men as they won their second World Cup crown after triumphing in 1998.

Both Griezmann and Pogba were crucial to their run to glory in Russia, and the pair enjoyed an amusing moment in the former’s post-match interview with FIFA after being named Man of the Match.
The Atletico Madrid ace has made one of the popular Fortnite celebrations his own with his ‘take the L’ dance, which was on display after he converted from the spot in Moscow.
Pogba decided that he was not only going to interrupt his interview, but also mock him with his take on his celebration, as seen in the video below.
Evidently, the camaraderie in the France camp is solid and it’s arguably played a crucial part in their success in Russia having bounced back from the disappointment of being defeated in the Euro 2016 final on home soil.
It’s more than likely that with characters like Griezmann and Pogba in the group, their celebrations will provide some more memorable social media posts in the coming days…
