Chelsea have agreed a deal with fellow Premier League side Everton over a loan switch for Blues and France star Kurt Zouma.

This is according to Get Football News France, who are re-reporting from L’Equipe, who note that the Toffees are now going to have to get their backsides in gear in order to finalsie a move for the Frenchman before this evening’s deadline.

This move will be good for both Everton and the player, as the club get their hands on a quality centre-half, whilst Zouma will now get the chance to get some more first team minutes under his belt at Goodison Park.

Zouma is close to finalising a loan switch to Everton from his current club Chelsea

Zouma did well on loan at Stoke City last season, as the 23-year-old managed to clock up 34 appearances for the Potters, who eventually ended the season by being relegated.

The Frenchman has had a hit-and-miss time at Stamford Bridge since his move from French side St Etienne in the summer of 2014.

The defender suffered a horrible injury in the 2016/17 season, something that meant he was only able to make 13 first team appearances for the west London side.

Zouma going on loan will be great for the Blues, as it will see the player get the chance to develop and return to the club a much better player.
