Cristiano Ronaldo wants Juventus to launch €50M transfer swoop to reunite him with former Real Madrid teammate

Cristiano Ronaldo is eager to see Juventus launch a €50M transfer swoop to reunite him with his former Real Madrid teammate Marcelo.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that Real president Florentino isn’t going to allow the Brazilian superstar to leave the club, and that he is adamant that a club must pay the player’s €200M release clause if they want to seal his signature.

The report also states that Ronaldo thinks the Old Lady would be able to snag a decent deal for the Real Madrid star, even if it means signing him in the January transfer window.

Ronaldo wants Juventus to sign Marcelo and reunite him with his former teammate

Marcelo has proven these past few seasons that he’s one of the best defenders on the planet, and signing the player would be a very smart move from Juventus.

Although the Italian giants already have Alex Sandro on their books, bringing in Marcelo would be great way for Juve to bolster their options at the back.

Despite being 30 years old, paying €50M for Marcelo would still be a great deal for Juventus, as they’d be getting a player who’d help Ronaldo settle in in Turin, and one that the Portuguese winger is more than comfortable playing alongside.

Now all that remains to see whether Juventus listen to Ronaldo and make their move to bring Marcelo to Italy.
