Real Madrid have reportedly reignited their interest in signing Man City and England superstar Raheem Sterling.

This is according to Sky Sports, who note that the Spanish giants aren’t expected to launch a move for the England international before the transfer deadline later this week.

The report from Sky Sports also notes that Los Blancos will be scouting the winger during England’s clash against Spain early next month, a sign that means they’re surely serious about signing the 23-year-old.

Real look to have sparked up an interest in Man City star Sterling again

Sterling was one of the Premier League’s best players last season, with his goals and assists for Pep Guardiola’s side playing a big part in them securing their third Premier League title since 2016.

The England ace scored 18 and assisted 15 for City in the league, as he helped the club secure the first every 100-point season for a Premier League side.

In total, the former Liverpool star has bagged 45 Premier League goals during his career so far, an impressive total for a 23-year-old who is often made to play out wide.

Sterling would be a useful signing for Real, now all that remains is to see whether the club actually make an offer for the player in the future transfer windows.
