4) Raheem Sterling
Another player at a rival club who could surprisingly be available soon is Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling.
The England international was a key player for Pep Guardiola’s Premier League champions last season, and unlike Sanchez still has his best years ahead of him.
The Guardian recently claimed Sterling and City had hit an ‘impasse’ over contract talks, meaning the former Liverpool man is also edging closer to becoming a free agent in 2020.
That could mean a cut-price move in the near future if things don’t improve, and United could definitely do well to tempt him into swapping the blue half of Manchester for the red.
5) Leon Bailey
Linked with a host of top clubs after impressing hugely at Bayer Leverkusen, Leon Bailey is one of the most exciting young players in the world.
The Jamaican starlet would be a bit more of a gamble than some other more proven names on this list perhaps, but we’d love to see him in the Premier League and think he could be ideal for United’s needs.
With skill, pace and an eye for goal, Bailey looks to have a very bright future indeed and United could really benefit from signing an up-and-coming talent instead of their recent habit of going for players who have perhaps already peaked elsewhere, such as Sanchez in particular.
