Manchester United’s interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a pretty special piece of history this evening with the club’s win against Newcastle United.

And in achieving this 100% record, Solskjaer has become the first United manager since the legendary Sir Matt Busby to win all four of his opening four games in charge of the club.

While this is hugely impressive for the former United striker, it is also damning for his predecessor Mourinho, who badly struggled to get anything like this kind of form out of this group of players.
MUFC looked lost before Mourinho’s departure, and are now in the form of their lives as this fine winning run just serves to embarrass the Portuguese and damage his reputation in the game even more.
