“What a time to be alive” – Higuain makes PL debut for Chelsea and these fans thrilled with two Sarri calls

These Chelsea fans are pretty thrilled with the team news for tonight’s Premier League game against Bournemouth.

January signing Gonzalo Higuain makes his first Premier League appearance for the Blues, starting up front, though much of the praise coming Maurizio Sarri’s way is for Willian and Marcos Alonso failing to make the XI.

Emerson Palmieri replaces Alonso at left-back – and deservedly so, most would argue, after a hugely impressive recent display against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semi-final win.

Meanwhile, it’s Eden Hazard and Pedro alongside Higuain in attack, in what looks like a much stronger Chelsea team suddenly.

CFC only finished 5th in the Premier League last season and do not look guaranteed to qualify for the Champions League this term.

Having started well under Sarri, the club’s recent form has been a bit more patchy, but fans will hope the Italian tactician is now finally seeing the light with unpopular duo Alonso and Willian, while Higuain should be a clear upgrade on Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
