Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp seems like a pretty great guy in general – his football is entertaining, he’s funny, charismatic, and now he’s been filmed talking more sense about Brexit than pretty much any politician in the last two years.
The German tactician makes an articulate case for a second referendum in this interview, explaining that it’s not about re-running the referendum until you get the result you want, but that people being aware of all the facts is the only way the result can be truly democratic.
Unsurprisingly, people loved it, with many fans tweeting ‘Klopp for PM’ – though we’re not sure Reds fans will be too keen to let him go as his side can move seven points clear at the top of the Premier League tonight.
