Juventus are reportedly considering ways to bolster their squad this summer, and it involves a potential transfer raid on Real Madrid.

The Turin giants remain on course for an eighth consecutive Serie A title this season, while they are in the hunt for the Champions League too.

Signing Cristiano Ronaldo last summer will undoubtedly help take them closer to reaching their objective of ending their wait for success in Europe, but further reinforcements could be incoming this summer.

As reported by Calciomercato, via the paper edition of La Stampa, it’s suggested that Isco, James Rodriguez and Marcelo are all on their radar with the latter duo said to be eager to play alongside Ronaldo again.

As for Isco, he has struggled to impress this season and has fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu, producing just four goals and one assist in 25 appearances in all competitions.

With his last start in La Liga coming way back in October, it does raise genuine question marks over whether or not he has a future at Real Madrid.

Nevertheless, should Juventus launch a bid for either Isco or Rodriguez, they would surely have to make a sacrifice to create space in the squad given the current options available to Massimiliano Allegri.

The Italian tactician already has to pick from a pool containing Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa, Mario Mandzukic, Federico Bernardeschi and Juan Cuadrado, and so competition is already fierce.

With that in mind, it remains to be seen whether or not a move for either Isco or Rodriguez materialises, while given Alex Sandro’s ongoing presence in the line-up at left-back, it could also be said that a move for Marcelo doesn’t necessarily make sense unless his compatriot were to move on.
