Keep or sell? Verdict on every player in the Manchester United squad, key decisions needed regarding Pogba and Lukaku

Sergio Romero – KEEP

Romero has been impressive when given the chance to start over De Gea in the past few years, with the Argentine proving to be a reliable back-up for the Spaniard. United would be doing no harm in keeping him on for at least another season.

Diogo Dalot – DEFINITELY KEEP

Dalot has shown to be very promising for United when given first team opportunities this year, and given the fact the Portuguese star is just 20, it’d be transfer suicide for the club to get rid of the player after just one season at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba – KEEP

Despite showing some poor form under Jose Mourinho, Pogba seems to be flourishing under Solskjaer, and if United are going to keep the Norwegian at the club for the long term, they need to do all they can to ensure Pogba stays for as long as possible.

He’s also one of the best midfielders on the planet, so there’s that as well…

Pogba’s still has a lot more to offer United in the coming seasons

Juan Mata – KEEP

Although Mata is to turn 31 later this month, United should definitely be wanting to keep the player beyond this summer, even if it’s only for one more season, given the fact that he can still cut it against some of the best teams the league has to offer.

Jesse Lingard – KEEP

Lingard has proven to be a useful squad player for United these past couple seasons, and the England international’s link-up play with both Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba is a joy to behold at times. As well as this, Solskjaer shouldn’t have second thoughts about keeping Lingard at the club given the fact that he still has a fair few years of his career ahead of him.

Andreas Pereira – SELL

Pereira hasn’t proven to be much use for United this term, with the midfielder only managing to score once and assist once in 20 appearances in all competitions. Although the player is only 23, he doesn’t seem up to standard for a club like United given his performances this year. Get rid, Ole.

Fred – SELL

Fred has been a huge flop for the Red Devils since his move from Shakhtar Donestk last summer for a fee of around £52M as per Sky Sports. The Brazilian has struggled to find his feet at Old Trafford, a factor we can’t see changing any time soon. Thus, United should just try and recoup what they can for the player whilst they have the chance.

Ander Herrera – LEAVING

According to the Sun, Spaniard Herrera looks set to leave the club on a free in the summer, ending his five-year stint at Old Trafford. The report states the club aren’t willing to bow down to his huge wage demands, and given this, we’re sure a number of fans will be happy to see the back of him.
