Chelsea have reportedly made Napoli’s Victor Osimhen their top target ahead of the summer transfer window.
That’s according to Football Insider, who claims the Blues ‘admire’ and ‘adore’ the Nigerian forward.
Having already scored 21 goals across all competitions, Osimhen, 24, is enjoying a fantastic season.
Although understood to be on the shortlist of multiple clubs, including Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United, according to these latest reports, Chelsea have positioned themselves well ahead of the summer window which is set to open later this year.
“His dream, he said, is to play in the Premier League and that gives the likes of Chelsea a very good chance,” Football Insider’s Fraser Fletcher said.
“Chelsea admire and adore Osimhen. He is the perfect striker for them. Top of their list, along with others, like [Dusan] Vlahovic, but Osimhen is the star. He’s top of the list with a gold star beside his name for transfer targets for the summer.”
