Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly very keen on the prospect of signing for Arsenal, according to one of the journalists behind the Indy Kaila account.
The Gunners signed Viktor Gyokeres in an attempt to solve their striker issues last summer, and although he helped the club win a first Premier League title in 22 years, there were also some concerns about his performances.
It’s perhaps easy to see someone like Osimhen as a potential upgrade in attack, and the Nigeria international has been discussed by Arsenal during talks with Galatasaray, according to BBC Sport.

“Victor Osimhen very keen on move to @Arsenal,” the account posted. “The player current contract is reportedly to be £308k a week.”
It will be interesting to see if this develops any further, but those huge wage demands may well be why Osimhen has not already made the move to a Premier League club.
Can Arsenal afford Victor Osimhen transfer?
Osimhen is a top player, with his goalscoring record speaking for itself after successful spells with both Napoli and Galatasaray.
The 27-year-old has been consistently prolific at the highest level for much of the last five years or so, and although he’s yet to test himself in English football, he looks to have all the characteristics to do well here.
| Victor Osimhen | Games | Goals |
| Napoli (2021/22) | 32 | 18 |
| Napoli (2022/23) | 39 | 31 |
| Napoli (2023/24) | 32 | 17 |
| Galatasaray (2024/25) | 41 | 37 |
| Galatasaray (2025/26) | 33 | 22 |
Tall, strong, fast, intelligent, and a clinical finisher, Osimhen could take Arsenal to the next level if he joins and settles in well, but the north London giants also won’t want to over-pay.
BBC Sport have reported in the past about Chelsea being interested in Osimhen, with his high wage demands being the main issue preventing a deal.
ESPN have previously reported on Osimhen looking too expensive as well, reporting that he bags around £300,000 a week, which would make him their highest earner.
As we previously covered here, it seems Arsenal were willing to break the bank for Vinicius Junior even though it could dwarf what their current stars are earning, but it’s debatable if it’s worth attempting to do the same for Osimhen.

The truth is that He is a top player and has everything needed in a striker and he worth his wages if Arsenal can do everything to get Vinicius Jr Arsenal can as well try to get Osimhen because for me he is more prolific and can play in anywhere in the front lines so if really Arsenal is going for him this the chance acquiring him is a good deal and make Arsenal stronger and formidable to really defend the premiership trophy and go as well as winning the champion league he is super star who works for his wages he is fast he can score with his feet and his head in short he is the link Arsenal are missing to be continued
