Harry Kane’s entourage meet with PSG to discuss Tottenham Hotspur forward’s potential switch

It isn’t a foregone conclusion that Harry Kane will leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer, though chairman, Daniel Levy, is likely to have the toughest of times in convincing Spurs’ record goalscorer that White Hart Lane is where his future lay.

The centre-forward has continued to do his level best to bring success to the club and has led by example, particularly since a proposed move to Man City fell through, however, his excellence hasn’t been matched by that of his team-mates or the club in general.

Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino came as close as is possible to both the Premier League and Champions League titles without actually getting over the line, but that wasn’t good enough for Levy.

Kane has been in the Tottenham first team for ten seasons

Antonio Conte, a manager who has had success wherever he’s been, couldn’t even get a tune out of the first-team half the time.

With the squad always seemingly a few players short of one that can consistently challenge for the major honours, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Kane head off elsewhere, and there’s bound to be a big queue for his services.

FootMercato are now reporting that Ligue Un giants, Paris Saint-Germain, are likely to be one of the interested parties after it emerged that Kane’s entourage had met with the club to ascertain if a deal were possible.

Levy is potentially more likely to accede to selling Kane to a team in another league than he would to a direct Premier League rival, and with Lionel Messi likely to leave PSG, the French giants certainly have a space free in which to accommodate him.
