OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo has been linked to the move away from the French club and Premier League clubs are thought to be keen on securing his signature.

According to a report from Football London, Chelsea have now joined the race to sign the 23-year-old defender. They will face competition from Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Liverpool as per Evening Standard.

The 23-year-old defender has established himself as one of the best central defenders in the French league, and it is no surprise that the top English clubs are looking to sign him. He could prove to be a solid acquisition for all four Premier League clubs.

Chelsea could lose Thiago Silva soon and the Brazilian is in the twilight stage of his career. They will need to plan for a future without him and the 23-year-old French international would prove to be the ideal replacement.

Todibo will be excited about the possibility of playing in the Premier League and clubs like Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool will be attractive destinations for most players. The Frenchman will be looking to compete for major trophies with a move to England in the coming months.
