Gunners could be handed major boost in race for left-footed forward

According to recent reports, Wolves star Pedro Neto is anticipated to receive bids in the summer transfer window, with Arsenal reportedly showing strong interest in the left-footed forward.

Despite being sidelined for eight Premier League games with a hamstring injury, Neto has returned to form in recent weeks, attracting attention from several top-flight clubs.

It is believed that Arsenal, long-term admirers of the Portugal international, will closely monitor Pedro Neto’s situation at Molineux. Additionally, Football Insider have stated that Liverpool also hold an interest in Neto and could potentially enter the race to sign him alongside Arsenal in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Clubs across Europe are showing interest in the electrifying 23-year-old Pedro Neto and will cmonitor his performance at the Euros, should he be selected by his national team for this summer.

The Gunners will be keeping their eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ financial situation; if they are at risk of breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules then this could create the perfect opportunity for Arsenal to bid for the Portuguese forward.

Neto has scored three goals in all competitions for Gary O’Neil’s side this season and currently ranks joint-second in the Premier League for assists, with a tally of eight. This is a remarkable statistic given the amount of weeks he has missed in this campaign.

Despite their recent 2-0 defeat against Brentford on Saturday afternoon, Wolves currently sit in 10th place in the Premier League table. Their next match will be an explosive contest against Tottenham away on Saturday afternoon.

  1. Arsenal’s priority right now is a seasoned attacker and midfielder not a winger. Not too sure Arsenal can get all at the same time with the present prices in the market. I guess a left back is also in the cards.
