Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing the Athletic Club Bilbao attacker Nico Williams.

According to journalist Pipi Estrada, the Gunners are keen on signing the 21-year-old La Liga attacker and they are pushing to secure his services.

Williams has been in impressive form for the Spanish club, scoring five goals and picking up 10 assists across all competitions. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for the Gunners if they can get the deal done.

Arsenal have two quality wingers in Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. However, Mikel Arteta has not been able to rotate his side because of the lack of quality options. The arrival of Williams will allow Arsenal to rotate their key players more often. Williams is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three and he could lead the line for Arsenal alongside Saka and Martinelli as well.

Arsenal need more quality in the final third if they want to win major trophies. Williams would be a solid long-term investment for them.

The Spanish attacker is only 21 and he will get better with coaching and experience. He could develop into a top class performer in the Premier League. A move to England will be an exciting opportunity for Williams and he will look to prove himself in English football.
