£10m star set to be Spurs THIRD major signing: Would be a fantastic addition

After the arrival of top talents in the form of Luka Modric and Giovani, Juande looks set to add a third impressive signing in recent months. This one would no doubt greatly aid Tottenham’s much discussed defensive problems.

Spurs have been placed on red-alert by the news that Joe Hart is heading for a contract bust-up with Manchester City.
A City source revealed to The Sun: “Joe is really annoyed. He wasn’t expecting fortunes but simply to be paid what he feels he is worth after establishing himself among the best around.
“He can’t understand why City appear to be regarding his services so lightly. He feels what was put in front of him to sign was a real insult.”
And that according to the story alert Tottenham boss Juande Ramos, who is believed to still want to replace Paul Robinson at White Hart Lane. (The Sun)

£10m-rated Hart is a great prospect and one who already has a solid season behind him where the 21-year-old managed to keep ten clean sheets in 26 league games. A great shot-stopper and with maturity beyond his years, the former Shrewsbury player would be perfect for Spurs who are on the look-out for a keeper. If they manage to swoop for Joe Hart, it would be yet more evidence that a move to White Hart Lane is an ambitious move for a young player. Do Spurs fans think that Hart would be a good fit for the club?
