Spurs star heading for shocking £6m exit: Should JR reconsider?
by Mr Comfort on June 30th, 2008This Spurs defender seems surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane but perhaps the most shocking piece of news is the giant of a club wanting to sign him!
Spurs defender Younes Kaboul could make a shock move to Juventus.
Premier League rivals Portsmouth and Middlesbrough, were thought to be the likely destination for the former Auxerre man, although his agent Rudy Raba claimed in an interview with French newspaper L’Equipe that Italian giants Juventus are also in the running.
The French Under-21 international revealed recently that he has a frosty relationship with Tottenham boss Juande Ramos.
“He Ramos never talks to the players, not ever,” said Kaboul in a recent interview.
“When I asked why I was not even in the squad for the Anderlecht game, he just turned away and refused to speak to me.
“He does not respect the players, he does not respect me. This is not the way a team should be managed.” (West Essex and East London Guardian)
Younes Kaboul had an unfortunate first season at Tottenham last term, Ramos gave the Frenchman a run of games when he first took charge after Martin Jol was axed but then his chances were few and far between and it is worth noting that in the 19 games he started his side only managed to keep two clean sheets, which of course isn’t to say that the 22 year old was solely to blame for defensive frailties. However he does seem to have great potential which led many to believe he could be heading for a loan spell rather than a permanent exit which does seem far more likely now given comments attributed to Kaboul. Juventus having qualified for the Champions League would be one hell of a move for the former Auxerre man, but could it happen? Do Spurs fans think that JR should give Younes another chance?

No
He is a liability at best, he would be great in Zokoras position if he was given time to grow but loaning him out to a team where he will be played alot wouldnt be the worst thing!!

doesnt surprise me in the slightest! hopefully juventus will nurture and blossom this young lads undubted talent! he is enthusiastic and skillfull and everso young. thrown in at the deep end this guy made a few mistakes, but come on where was our battling midfield to help the kid. stick him next to a class defender and he will grow into possibly the next marcel desilee (however spelt). not the guys fault we paid so much for him! fairplay to jol who nurchers our young rather than constantly judging and critisising them. far to thikkle half these fans now days they dont give people a chance, watch this guy, i promise we will wish he never left in a few years time and all you haters will be saying “i never wanted him to go” centre backs come of age anyone in football knows that. good luck to the kid who tried hard for us, i wish we had encoraged him to great things. coys!!

Not happy about his public bad mouthing of manager and club, especially while still under contract.
Promising? Yes. Probably better suited to DM role that we have been missing. Not what we needed; Comoli goes shopping for bread and buys a bag of nails instead. Poor Mr Jol.
Red agent Comoli out! Where is the accountability?
