Arsenal forward blames ‘chaotic London’ for wanting to leave!

While we could understand if Alexander Hleb was angling for a move to Norwich next season, it’s slightly trickier to understand why he’s moving to Barcelona if he wants peace and quiet. The Daily Mail reveal that the Belarussian has had his fill of living in the Big Smoke, claiming that the hustle and bustle of the big city is seriously messing with his head. Does someone want to tell him that Barca is a large capital city as well?

‘I am not happy with my life in Britain, to be honest,’ said Hleb.

‘Elements of day-to-day life may prevent me in future from playing a full part with my team here.

‘I can’t get used to the chaotic way of life in London, where everyone is racing around 24 hours a day. It is uncomfortable and I’m mentally tired.’

Is this guy for real? He’s either a) very stupid, b) incredibly naive or c) being mis-advised by his representatives on what to say. Whatever the reason, Hleb continues to shoot himself in both feet as he crawls towards the Arsenal exit doors and Gooners will now be saying good riddance to this little toerag.
