Stamford Bridge team-mates involved in ‘love triangle’.

It is being alleged by the Daily Mail that Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois, currently on loan at Atletico Madrid, has had an affair with team-mate Kevin de Bruyne’s girlfriend.
A Belgian magazine alleges that Caroline Lijnen had become ‘frustrated’ with life in Bremen with De Bruyne, who is on loan at Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, and proceeded to have a romantic ‘liaison’ with Courtois in Madrid.
De Bruyne is said to be ‘devastated’ about the affair but has apparently patched up his differences with his Belgian national team-mate ahead of a recent qualifier with Macedonia.
Chelsea were of course the subject of a similar ‘love triangle’ in recent years when it was alleged that John Terry had an affair with Vanessa Perroncel, girlfriend of team-mate Wayne Bridge. That incident became headline news back in December 2010 when the full-back opted to not shake hands with the Blues skipper ahead of a match between Chelsea and Man City.
Courtois and De Bruyne were team-mates at Racing Genk before their respective moves to Chelsea.
