Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has set his sights on a brand new Blues strike force.

According to the Telegraph the returning Blues manager is keen on bringing in top class attacking additions this summer.

With this in mind Mourinho is apparently very keen on Man City forward Edin Dzeko, who could well be on his way out at the Etihad Stadium, though a lot depends on whether Roberto Mancini’s replacement also sees the Bosnian international as only a back-up option.

The powerful forward was handed just 16 Premier League starts last season but still managed to net 14 goals, outscoring both Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez, both of whom started significantly more games that the former Wolfsburg man.

Mourinho is also keen on versatile Fiorentina marksman Stevan Jovetic, who has been linked repeatedly with a possible move to Arsenal.

The 23 year old Montenegro international has been in fine form in Serie A over the past two seasons, scoring 27 goals in 58 starts, and could well be interested in a move to the Premier League having perhaps gone as far as he can with the Florence side he has represented for five seasons.

Such interest may well leave Fernando Torres, and perhaps even Demba Ba, considering their futures at Stamford Bridge.
