Greek side Olympiakos are reportedly lining up a move for veteran Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The 32-year-old is entering the final year of his contract at the Emirates and the Greek giants are set to tempt the Gunners to cash in on him now by offering £2 million to land his signature and will hope to convince the player to join by offering him a lucrative three-year contract.

The Czech Republic international has been with the north London side for seven years now but has struggled with a series of injury problems during that spell. Last season saw him make just 16 appearances, scoring three times and the writing is said to be on the wall regarding his long term future in Arsene Wenger’s plans.

However, any potential move could be put on hold for the time being as the player’s wife is expected to give birth to their second child soon so he may want to wait until after the new baby has arrived until he makes any major decisions.

Rosicky had also been linked with a return to the Bundesliga with Hamburg said to be interested, but so far no offer has been made and the club may look to move quickly now that they have some serious competition.
