White Hart Lane side to welcome young duo.
Tottenham have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Dinamo Zagreb pair Alen Halilovic & Tin Jedvaj in a deal worth €20m (£17.2m) according to Croatian source Sportske novosti.
The teenage pair will arrive at White Hart Lane when they turn 18 years of age, centre-back Jedvaj penciled in to arrive at White Hart Lane in January and playmaker Halilovic moving a year from now.
17 year old pint sized attacking midfielder Halilovic is dubbed the ‘Next Luka Modric’ and already has a full Croatian national team cap to his name and has been blooded at Champions League level, completing a total of 21 appearances for Dinamo Zagreb last term.
Jedvag is an uncompromising defender who is mature beyond his years and has been strongly linked with a number of Premier League sides since breaking onto the senior football scene early this year.
Andre Villas-Boas will hope to bring in a number of high-profile signings this summer, with Brazilian Paulinho and Barcelona striker David Villa apparently also on the Tottenham boss’s radar, but clearly the Portuguese boss is known for trusting to youth and is also planning for the club’s long term squad building project.
