Fiorentina’s CEO Sandro Mencucci has confirmed that several teams are chasing striker Stevan Jovetic including Juventus, who still want the Montenegrin even though they have just signed Carlos Tevez, Goal.com reports.

The striker has recently claimed that he is ready to leave Fiorentina this summer as he wants to challenge for the biggest trophies with a big club and feels he has achieved all he can in Florence.

Juventus were thought to be front-runners for the striker before they signed Carlos Tevez and some thought their interested in Jovetic may wane but Mencucci says that is not the case.

“It doesn’t seem so to me,” he told reporters on Friday. “Anyway, there are several teams interested in Jovetic.

“Having said that, I am one of those that would want him to remain in Florence, even though I realise that after what he told the press, that’s become more difficult.”

Arsenal and Chelsea are also reportedly chasing the strikers signature while Manchester City reportedly have the first option on Jovetic.

The Montenegrin has had a successful season with Fiorentina, helping them finish fourth in Serie A but he may have played his last game for the club due to the interest that is surrounding him.

Reports suggest that Jovetic could be available for around £25 million.
