Tottenham are ready to make a move to bring in Man City keeper Joe Hart if Tim Sherwood is unable to prevent White Hart Lane custodian Hugo Lloris moving to PSG this summer according to The People.

It’s a move that may leave some scratching their heads as clearly there is no guarantee, or indeed a decent reason, why England’s number one would opt to leave the Etihad Stadium for a move to North London.

Granted the 26 year old was dropped earlier in the season but has successfully fought his way back into Manuel Pellegrini’s starting eleven and his Man City side, despite losing to Chelsea last night, are still flying high near the top of the table.

Hart has started the last eight Premier League fixtures and appears to have firmly pushed Romanian giant Costel Pantilimon back to the bench and a move to Tottenham may therefore not be a realistic prospect.

Sherwood will hope to secure a top four finish, which in turn could perhaps prevent the French international captain considering a move back to Ligue 1.
