Chelsea managed to notch up a 1-0 victory over City at the weekend to blow the title race wide open, but manager Manuel Pellegrini had a few choice words for his counterpart Jose Mourinho.
The Chilean hilariously referred to the Special One as ‘a little horse that needs feeding’ in his post match comments before seeking to clarify exactly what he meant.
“Maybe it is a small horse if the manager thinks like that. It can be a little horse but very rich,” he said.
“This is the team that spends most money in the last 10 years, it is the team that spends most money this year and the team that spends the most money in the transfer window so little but rich.”
