Premier League referees are required to have a thick skin and be more robust than the average bloke. Abuse from the terraces and players is part and parcel of the job, but experienced ref Mike Dean has clearly drawn the line at being touched!

In Sunday’s North London derby, Dean looked utterly disgusted when first Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and then Sandro of Tottenham laid hands on him in an attempt to win him round. The players will think twice about doing the same in the future.
