Several sides are believed to be in the running for his signature including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Juventus.

The 27-year-old is co-owned by Lazio and Udinese with the clubs set to hold talks on whether to continue the arrangement or let him leave.

He is currently rated at around £8m, but that fee could rise considerably depending on whether he has a good tournament at the World Cup with Italy this summer.

He has been linked with Juventus after enjoying a successful short spell there back in 2010, however reports in Italy have suggested that he would favour a move to the Premier League as he is keen to test himself in another country.

Candreva joined Lazio at the beginning of the 2012/13 season and has gone on to make a total of 64 appearances for the club, bagging 10 goals in the process. He has collected 18 caps for the national side and is fully expected to be called up by the Azzuri for the World Cup this summer.
