Uruguay attacker has been the stand-out player in the top flight in this campaign.
Liverpool front man Luis Suarez has sent a personal video message to all his fans after being crowned the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award on Sunday night.

The Uruguay international won the award after having found the back of the net on 30 occasions so far this season in just 31 Premier League outings for the Merseysiders, a blistering run of form in front of goal that has led his club to the top of the table with just two games left to play.
And after receiving the trophy in central London, Suarez then returned to his hotel to film a short video on his own official youtube channel dedicated to his many fans, in which he said: “Hello everyone. We’ve just got back from the Player of the Year awards. I’m really happy.
“Thanks to all the players who voted for me and to my team-mates, who I wouldn’t have won this prize without.
“Above all, I want to thank my wife Sophie, who has been enjoying the evening with me.
“And to my two children Delfina and Benjamin, who I love with all my soul. And to all my fans too.”
