However, the Hammers boss proved that he has a playful side on Thursday when he took on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, having been nominated by controversial midfielder Ravel Morrison.
After getting soaked, Big Sam nominated assistant manager Neil McDonald and Jack Sullivan, who is the son of club owner David Sullivan.
