It’s a clash between the two great South American rivals as Argentina and Brazil go head-to-head in the Chinese capital of Beijing at the Bird’s Nest Stadium.

It’s now two years since these two nations played each other – when the Argentinians ran out 2-1 winners in Buenos Aires – and much has changed since then.

Many thought it would be an all South American final at this summer’s 2014 World Cup, but eventual winners Germany had different ideas as they thrashed the hosts 7-1 in the semi-finals and then triumphed over Argentina in the final.

Since then both countries have changed their managers, with former FC Barcelona head coach Gerardo Martino replacing Alejandro Sabella and Dunga taking over from Luis Felipe Scolari for his second spell in charge of the Samba Boys.

Argentine captain Lionel Messi is expected to return to the starting XI after missing last month’s revenge victory over the Germans, although Martino has opted against recalling Juventus forward Carlos Tevez.

For the Brazilians the big news is that after 18 months out of the national side Kaka has been included in the squad.
