The 34 year old England international could be on his way to a Britannia Stadium exit in January with his current Potters contract set to expire next summer.

Both Neil Warnock and Harry Redknapp are keen on welcoming Crouch to London and Mark Hughes may elect to cash-in on the experienced marksman in preference to losing the veteran on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Crouch has worked with Redknapp on four occasions so one would imagine that QPR would be ahead of the Eagles in a move for the Stoke City man.

Stoke City would be loathed to lose Crouch given his recent run of form, the Potters star having netted in his side’s last two fixtures.

Crouch is into his fourth season at Stoke City and has racked up 37 goals in 133 appearances for the club since his £10m move back in August 2011.
