The Barcelona man is currently on loan at West Ham until the end of the season, but is unlikely to be wanted back at the Nou Camp any time soon.

Olympique de Marseille are allegedly interested in the Cameroon international, but the former Arsenal man would prefer to remain in England if possible.

The issue is that the Premier League side may be unable to afford either his wages, or the transfer fee required; which could leave Song’s options limited.

He was allegedly close to a move to Ligue 1 over the summer, but the deal collapsed at the last minute.

Song has been a revelation for West Ham this season, and has been instrumental in the early success that has found them in the Champions League spots; but can they hold on to him?
