You’d imagine that Mignolet would be great by default. A Belgian international that plays for Liverpool surely means there is a high degree of quality there.
However, he has consistently let himself, his teammates, and his fans down with a series of error laden displays that have contributed to the side failing to build on last season’s title challenge. So bad he was dropped for Brad Jones, and he could be in line for replacement if Brendan Rodgers can get his act together in the transfer market.
