Premier League fans have been sent on a goose-chase regarding who the player is, but the Sun claim it’s Sunderland man Adam Johnson…An unbelievably surprising story emerged this afternoon with the Sun reporting that England international and Premier League star Adam Johnson has been arrested on suspicion of allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
The previous report didn’t name the player in question but referred to him as a ‘regular for his Premier League club’ who has ‘appeared for England’ – but the Sun just tweeted this confirmation of the player’s identity.

Police arrived at the player’s home this morning and were carrying extensive searches throughout the mansion with the home-owner absent all day, hence the reports of an arrest.
Quite sensationally, a loaded gun was also found on the property landing the player in more hot bother with the newspaper suggesting fans will be stunned once the player is revealed.
