De Bruyne, who currently plays for German top flight side Wolfsburg, told Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato that he would “like to finish his career in the MLS, probably with LA Galaxy”.

The 23 year old has been linked with a move to Man Utd this season, but has a contract with Wolfsburg until the summer of 2019. It is thought he would cost at least £30 million, an amount that could put off the Red Devils.

Belgian international De Bruyne joined Chelsea in 2012, but only made three first team appearances for the club. He has scored 11 goals in 39 games since joining the Germans last summer.
