Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has had to wait a while to make his debut for Bayern Munich, as you’d expect being understudy to the stopper widely regarded as the world’s best, Manuel Neuer. Today was finally the day though, and Reina has broken a few records with his first Bundesliga start.

The Spanish ‘keeper becomes just the ninth player to have played in all four of the major European leagues (English, German, Spanish and Italian) and the first goalkeeper.
Reina also becomes the only world champion to play in all four of the top divisions as he plays for the first time for German champions Bayern Munich against Werder Bremen.
