Playmaker Neymar led the events, firstly going to a restaurant, before heading to a Kensington nightclub.

He was joined in the capital by teammates Willian and Douglas Costa, as well as national team boss, Dunga, although it is not thought that the trio joined the Barcelona forward at the club.

Instead, he was seen alongside former Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap.

The 23-year-old was in good spirits despite criticising the tactics of his South American opponents. Former Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel had angered Neymar, after appearing to stamp on him, in an incident that was not spotted by English official, Martin Atkinson.

Despite the win being somewhat overshadowed by the Chilean’s apparent game-plan, there was cause for the Brazilians to be optimistic. Since World Cup humiliation against both Germany, and then the Netherlands, the hosts from the tournament have not lost any of their eight subsequent fixtures.
